There and back again. A few months ago i got in a plain that took me to Tanzania. A few weeks ago i came back, after approximately 30 hrs of traveling. 6:30 in the morning we picked up the driver and started the way back to Dar and home. Underway making some last pictures of this beautiful country. Happy to go home, sad to leave. A very familiar feeling to a lot of other people who did this before me.
The first days home were pretty weird. Everything is so different, it’s only 13hrs by plain but it could be a racket race to the moon as well. Everyone knows that things are different in other parts of the world. Though i think one only really knows after being there.
Thinking of it now, sitting behind my desk looking over a cannel, it’s weird to realize i’ve actually been there. Spend all that time in the Meta hospital and Mbeya…… It is a shame we had to come home earlier (for those not informed, the condition of Esthers foot, which was getting worse in stead of better after being hit by a dala dala, made us decide to come home early). Fortunately we had already seen a lot of beautiful things in the time we were there.
This is one of the best things i ever did in my live, and no matter how cliche this might be, thanks to all who made this possible.
While live goes one here back home with Daniel, with family and friends, my mind will secretly be in back in Tanzania by times.
